The year just happened to be 2004, and I ended up on the KMOX Cardinal Baseball Staff. I’ve been a lifelong Cardinal fan and knew what it meant to be a part of legendary KMOX.
I was only there for one season due to contract negotiations. My family and friends were welcomed to all games and events. I feel blessed to have been a part of the Cardinals broadcasts and understand why they are loved from coast to coast. License plates from all over the Midwestern United States show how large and broad the audience on KMOX is.
KMOX reached more than just St. Louis Cardinal fans. The other stationed only reached four states to KMOX’s forty-four state reach. the St. Louis Cardinals had the fan base because of their large signals reach or they had the large signals reach because of their large fan base
It was considered the ‘Crown Jewel of CBS” and started the news/talk format on KMOX
